Burnett, Tasha M., 44, of Tullahoma, passed away Monday, March 17, 2008, at Harton Regional Medical Center. She is survived by two sons, Voltaire Carson and Mike Burnett Jr. , both of Tullahoma; daughter, Malaia Burnett, Manchester; mother, Barbara Carson; husband, Mike Burnett Sr. and sister, Juyon Pentecost, all of Tullahoma; three brothers, James Frank (Virginia) Carson, Hampton, Va; Ricky (Melissa) Carson, Dallas, Texas; and John Carson Jr., Murfreesboro; mother-in-law, Ernestine (James) Trimble, Winchester; three grandchildren, Caziah King, Tavion King and Rekeisha Carson. Visitation will be from 6 pm to 8 p.m. today, March 21, at J.A. Welton & Son Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 11 am Saturday March 22, at Shorter Chapel AME Church with Pastor Elvy Davis officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetary.

I went to grade school with Tasha; we were good friends in 3rd grade. She remained so sweet throughout high school. I always had wondered what had happened to her; I cannot believe she is gone!Tawni Cunningham (Knoer)
