July or Fall date would be fine but July would likely attract more classmates and families living farther away. Country Club would be good choice for any kind of formal event. If we want to have an informal, "family day" where all our kids could participate we might consider something at Tims Ford -- peraps at the State Park. Many of us coming in from out of town will likely need lodging so we could get cabins there. Several class members probably have boats and others of us could rent them and we could spend a day on the lake tubing, wake boarding, hanging and listening to tunes and sippin' adult beverages.
Also, might consider some kind of a fun event(s) that could also raise money for some kind of local charity. Perhaps a morning golf tournament or morning, class-sponsored fishing tournament at Tims Ford State Park with money raised going so some good cause in Tullahoma -- ideally one somehow linked to the schools/education.
I have heard from others living in Tullahoma that they like it when a class holding a reunion organizes and publicizes some kind of an event that also provides an opportunity for friends from classes immediately behind and immediately ahead to see friends from "days gone by." Naturally, focus on any of these events should be the FUN -- not serious competition. Should award prizes for shortest tee shot, ugliest golf hat, smallest fish, etc.. A golf tournament, 3-4 hour fishing tournament and time on the lake would be good opportunities for them and for others to spend time with us and vice versa. These also might be good ways for our teachers/principals/other community members to get some time with us and with our families.
Appreciate everything our class leaders and others living back in Tullahoma will be putting forth to make the reunion a great event. Wish I was there to contribute, myself, but really look forward to participating in anything put together.
Go Cats! Andy
